Well I am finishing up my fitness testing at school. It has gone pretty well I would say. We were lucky enough to go outside with the students who were not testing. Toward the end of the week the older students were doing pretty good with Ultimate Frisbee. The hardest part was trying to keep them spread out and not standing on top of each other.

Did you know KB Toys is going out of business? Okay so they have been going out of business for a while, but last week I got a bunch of the lawn dart sets for $2.50. Man what a deal. I am going out today to try and find some other games I could use during my recreation unit. I already have the lawn darts, bocce, and horseshoes so I am off to a good start.

We played this game last week and the kids loved it. I don't know why I never thought of playing it before. I only played the game with a few of the students who did not want to go outside to play soccer, but the ones who played it did enjoy it. Check it out.

I am pretty excited to start on the recreation unit. I have never taught it before but I think the kids will really enjoy it. I know if I were in elementary school I would have love to have a recreational unit. If anything the next few weeks should be pretty entertaining, have a great week.

Keep them moving,
